The Hainan Tropical Crops Research Institute is located in Baoting. The garden features a tropical crop specimen area, tropical fruit tree area, tropical economic crop area, woody oil crop area, and tropical forest area. Among them, some of the more precious plants include the mystery fruit, breadfruit, avocado, rambutan, and mountain bamboo.
Additionally, the garden has constructed a mountain-circling viewing path with stone benches along both sides, providing a resting place for visitors. The garden is open all year round from 07:00 to 17:00.
