Lin Gong Temple, also known as Hai Rui Pavilion, is located next to Hai Rui’s former residence in Haikou. Above the main entrance of Hai Rui Pavilion, the words ‘Hai Rui Pavilion’ are inscribed, and inside the temple, there is a wooden plaque with the words ‘Lin Gong Temple.’ Most of the temple is adorned with wooden plaques and couplets inscribed with ‘Lin Gong Temple,’ where wooden spirit tablets for Hai Rui and Lin Jie are enshrined. The temple features a two-stage layout with a worship pavilion in the center of the courtyard, constructed with a brick and concrete structure; the overall color of the architecture is vermilion.
