Lin Chang Jiao Island is composed of interlaced accumulations of grayish-black limestone, hence the name Lin Chang Jiao.
Lin Chang Jiao Island covers an area of approximately 0.014 square kilometers, located in the Hou Shui Bay of the Beibu Gulf, belonging to Danzhou, Hainan Province. It is submerged by seawater for most of the year, and the surrounding waters are rich in fishing resources. The geographical location is quite unique, situated on the maritime boundary between Danzhou and Lingao counties.
