The Haikou Mangroves are located in Dongzhai Port, which is one of the largest areas of coastal wetland forests in China at present, stretching a total of 28 kilometers along the coastline, making it one of the eight major coastlines of Hainan.
Here, the waters are broad, and sitting on a small boat, meandering through the waters enveloped by green mangroves, is very pleasant.
The area is open all year round from 09:00 to 19:00.
