An Ding Town is nestled to the south by mountains, bordered to the north by the Xiuyan River, close to the Zhongshan Valley to the west, and lies on a flat plain to the east.
During the Song Dynasty, An Ding was established as a fort, and during the Yuan Dynasty of the Mongols, it was established as a county, which continued through the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In 1937, the county seat was relocated to Wayao Fort, and An Ding was designated as a town.
The town is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00, with specific business conditions subject to the day’s opening status.
