Yu Gang Park is one of the top eight scenic spots in Zhanjiang, and it is an excellent place to watch the sunrise. It is the northern starting point of the Seaview Promenade. The beach is comparatively clean, and is equipped with beach chairs. After renovation, the environment has significantly improved, and sand sculpture events have been held here. There is a small beach where people can go for a swim, and many citizens take advantage of the evening to have a splash. The park is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
