Teceng Island, also known as ‘Red Island’, is renowned for its red soil and peculiar red rocks. The island boasts fresh air and a climate that is akin to spring all year round. It is home to over 1000 acres of mangroves, which are nearly 500 years old and under national key protection, a 400-year-old Xita Temple, and sites of the Anti-Japanese Revolutionary period. Additionally, the island features white sandy beaches and red peculiar rocks (volcanic rocks with high scientific and aesthetic value).
Teceng Island is located in a tropical and subtropical climate zone, with an average annual temperature ranging between 21-22 degrees Celsius, making it spring-like throughout the seasons. The air quality is excellent, and the seawater is so clear that you can see the bottom. The island is adorned with nearly a hundred ancient banyan trees and intermittently distributed tropical shrubs. It has a 3-kilometer-long beach and nearly a thousand acres of natural mangroves along the coast, which are under national protection. ‘Teceng’ is an ancient Yue term, where ‘Teceng’ means a place and ‘Cheng’ signifies harmony and auspiciousness. The villagers on the island have been engaged in fishing for generations.

The boat schedule for leaving the island is: 08:45, 10:45, 12:45, 14:45, 16:45, 17:45, and 19:15. Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters in height enter for free; those between 1.2 meters (excluding 1.2 meters) and 1.5 meters (excluding 1.5 meters) receive a discount.
