Qiu Xian Garden is a small park in Haikou that has undergone a sponge city transformation. The park embraces the concept of ‘sponge city’, utilizing the low-lying terrain and pebbles to design dry streams according to local conditions, creating a model for ecological transformation of small urban parks in Haikou.
During the renovation, Qiu Xian Garden focused on ecological restoration, supplementing and completing the planting of arbors, shrubs, and ground covers. Strolling through the small park, one can see a vibrant green scene with sunflowers, agaves, palm trees, and coconut trees.
