Designed by the renowned Schmidt-Cory Design Company, the main designer Brian Cory has ingeniously integrated the club with the natural terrain of the course, surrounding mountains and gardens, lakes, and a hundred kinds of tropical fruits and garden landscapes in Hainan, creating a unique and harmonious style. The golf course design is unique, leading both domestically and internationally. The course shaping was entrusted to the American chief shaper Robert D. Eaton, who passionately created a one-of-a-kind, beautifully designed modern garden-style golf course. Additionally, a unique and fun 19th hole was designed, a mini-peninsula green with a pot-shaped green, allowing golfers to truly experience the thrill of a hole-in-one. The 480,000 square meters of natural lakes (Changling Reservoir) surround the entire course, with 120 bunkers scattered throughout like stars. The course is nestled against mountains and waters, with fruit trees forming a forest, and the landscape of mountains and waters complementing each other, merging into one. The fairway design is exquisite, with delicate shaping. Although the fairways appear flat, they hide subtle challenges, offering both challenge and entertainment, meeting the needs of golfers of all levels.
