The water quality rivals that of Southeast Asia, with an average visibility of 10-30 meters. The average water temperature in October is between 28-31 degrees Celsius, and the depth ranges from 0-40 meters, making it suitable for various levels of free diving courses.

The underwater reefs are rich with fish schools, home to a colony of sardines, and feature underwater fissures perfect for photography. You might even encounter wild whale sharks if you’re lucky. The diving season in Hainan is from April to October.
