The Shan-Hai Connected Landmark Square is located in Zhushan Village, Dongxing City. It has a total area of 13,672 square meters. With the theme of ‘mountain and sea connected’, the central sculpture is 35 meters high. It is an abstract pictograph ‘Xing’ formed by red and blue colors. Red represents mountains and blue represents the sea. It is like a ribbon wrapped around and also like two huge hands holding tightly, implying that the coastline of mainland China and the land border meet and connect in Dongxing.
