Gaosha Port, along with Yin Beach, Qiaogang, and Guan Tou Ling, is part of the same beach area. It is relatively close to the city center and boasts richer marine resources. Since ancient times, the people from the nearby fishing villages have relied on digging for clams, sandworms, catching sand crabs for making crab sauce, and fishing as their main sources of livelihood. Today, the Gaosha Port beach area remains a popular destination for seaside leisure and beachcombing activities.
Professional staff, following the patterns of tidal rise and fall, seize the opportunity during low tide to harvest or collect marine products on the coastal mudflats and reefs. Visitors can experience the joy of fishermen’s lives firsthand during these activities.
The opening times are arranged according to the rules of the tide table to schedule beachcombing times. Please do not be late and miss the high tide.
