Ganchong Port is located on the west side of Ganchongxu in the northwest of Danzhou, Hainan. To the south is Yangpu Bay, and to the west is the Beibu Gulf. The entrance of this port is narrow with many rocks and shallow water. At high tide, the water depth is 2 to 3 meters, and ships of about 40 tons can enter and exit. At low tide, the water depth is 0.4 to 1 meter, and only small sailing boats can pass. The approach channel is 500 meters long and 100 meters wide. It is a small fishing port with more seafood. Open all day throughout the year.
