Waisha Island, a long, narrow sandbar off the northern coast of Beihai City, is just tens of meters away from the mainland. The island primarily consists of two areas: the East District, which is a seafood-themed park featuring eighteen distinctive seafood restaurants, a dried seafood market, a live seafood market, hotels, an artists’ village, and local specialty shops; and the West District, which is a beach leisure hotel complex themed around sports.
