Beihai Old City is located in the north of Beihai urban area and borders Sichuan North Road. It is composed of Zhuhai Road, Shaji Street, Zhongshan Road and 25 alleys. Among them, the famous century-old Zhuhai Road was built in 1883. It is about 1.44 kilometers long and about 9 meters wide. The arcade-style buildings combining Chinese and Western styles along the street are connected door to door. The beautiful and delicate parapet walls are looming. The pavement paved with black bricks and stone slabs is simple and unsophisticated, revealing the vicissitudes and solemnity of the old street everywhere.
