Bailong Ancient Fort

Bailong Fort was originally constructed during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, adjacent to the Beibu Gulf.

The fort mainly consists of four batteries: Bailong Battery, Genkeng Battery, Longzhen Battery, and Longxiang Battery. Each battery features a military-style stone gate built with square stone slabs. Ascending the steps in front of the main gate and walking inside, one can see the barracks where soldiers once lived, ammunition storage rooms, shell holes, and hidden ammunition caves.

Upon reaching the higher ground of the fort, one can appreciate the solemn grandeur of the ancient batteries and enjoy a panoramic view of the sea, taking in the vast and beautiful scenery. The opening hours are subject to the day’s operational status.
