Bailang Beach gets its name because layers of white waves can often be seen rolling on the sea surface. The sand here is also distinctive. It has a relatively high titanium content and is thus close to dark brown. Hence, there is the saying of ‘black sand and white waves’. Many locals also like to come here on holidays to paddle in the water and play with sand. On the beach, there are sun umbrellas and swimming rings for rent. There are also activities such as beach volleyball that one can participate in. Although there are many waves on the beach, due to the gentle slope of the sand, the waves are not large and will not affect tourists from going into the sea to play in the water. If you don’t stay in a nearby hotel, after playing in the water, you can also take a bath in the shower on the beach. There is both cold and hot water (the price is around 10 yuan). When night falls, the food stalls around the beach start to become lively. There are many choices, so there is no need to worry about dining. Open all year round, open 24 hours a day.
