China Cordyceps Museum

The Cordyceps Museum is the world’s first large-scale museum with a diverse collection, focusing on displaying Cordyceps specimens, recreating the growth environment of Cordyceps, and promoting knowledge about Cordyceps. It showcases approximately 500 species of Cordyceps discovered worldwide, including Ophiocordyceps sinensis, Isaria cicadae, Cordyceps militaris, Metacordyceps bambusae, Formosan beetle Cordyceps, and many more, making it the world’s first professional Cordyceps museum. The museum and its affiliated industrial tourist attractions cover an indoor exhibition area of about 12,000 square meters and an outdoor area of about 15,000 square meters. It concentrates on displaying the research achievements of scientists from China and abroad since 1900, including mycologists, medical experts, and pharmacologists, as well as academic literature, monographs, and applications in medicine, health preservation, beauty, and biological control.
The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00; on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30 to 16:30; and closed all day on Mondays. The specific opening hours are subject to the on-site notice at the scenic spot.
