Dongxia Beach is located at the foot of Yuanbao Mountain in Dongxia Village, Songmen Town. There is a cave here with a water curtain at the entrance. According to the older generation, it is said that one can pass through this cave to another village several kilometers away. There is a small water curtain at the entrance, with water flowing down the rock walls or dripping downwards. However, for safety reasons, it is advised not to enter the cave alone. Both inside and outside the cave, rocks are covered with shellfish such as sea lettuce, fairy hands, barnacles, and oysters.
Outside the cave lies a beach, known as Dongxia Beach. The surrounding area of this coastal beach features many stone house homestays, such as Yuanshe, Zai Shui Yi Fang, Yinxing Yuan, Yu Hai Ge, and Hai Bu Mian. The beach is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
