Gao’s Western-style House was built by Gao Zhonglan, a prominent family in Jiaxing during the Republic of China period. The house is in a square shape with a courtyard in the middle. The construction craftsmanship is exquisite and it is a typical architectural style of the Republic of China. The total area is about 1,500 square meters. Currently, it is used as an office and is not open to tourists.
