The Ancient Timber Museum is located in the picturesque Taihu Tourism Resort area, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing Taihu Lake. It is a multifunctional exhibition hall that integrates forest art, forest culture, and forest science.
The museum currently houses over 300 pieces of ancient timber treasures, including ancient trees with a history of hundreds of millions of years, allowing visitors to experience the magic of nature’s creations during their visit.
Opening hours are from 08:30 to 16:30 all year round. Additional preferential policies are as follows: 1. Children under 1.2 meters (not including) in height enter for free. (The above preferential policies must be purchased on-site at the scenic area).
