Haihui Temple is located on the east side of Wanshan Park in Danyang City. It was first built in the eighth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. At first, it was named Haihui Nunnery. Later, Wanshan Haihui Temple was used as the office of the Party School of Danyang Municipal Party Committee for many years. The two ginkgo trees in front of the scripture storage building are still tall and straight, with ancient branches and withered knots. They are relics from the initial construction of Wanshan Haihui Temple in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.
