The Yuping Cableway in Huangshan Mountain is located in the essence scenic area of Huangshan. It starts from Ciguang Pavilion at the lower end and reaches Putaosong at the upper end. It spans two major scenic areas of Hot Spring and Yuping. Along the way, there are scenic spots such as Shengquan Peak and Zhusha Peak. The two main peaks, Tiandu Peak and Lianhua Peak, are adjacent on both sides, and the Welcoming Pine is close at hand. The Yuping Cableway has a total length of 2176 meters and a height difference of 752 meters. It is an automatic circulating gondola passenger cableway with reliable performance and safety. The cableway runs at a speed of 6 meters per second, and the one-way transportation capacity per hour reaches 1000 people. The cableway is equipped with 40 six-seater carriages, which are comfortable to ride and convenient for viewing. Around the cableway are gathered the majestic, strange, dangerous and illusory scenic spots representative of Huangshan’s scenery.
Opening hours: From March 2 to October 31, Monday to Friday, it is open from 07:00 to 17:00; From March 2 to October 31, Saturday and Sunday, it is open from 06:30 to 17:13; On New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, it is open from 06:30 to 17:40. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
