Jinting Town is a historically and culturally renowned town in Jiangsu Province,隶属于 Jiangsu Province’s Suzhou City, Wuzhong District, formerly known as Xishan Town, and changed its name to the current one in 2007.
Jinting Town covers a total area of 83.42 square kilometers. The town area, located on Xishan Island, is one of the largest freshwater lake islands in China, situated in the southwest of Suzhou City, and is home to the longest inland lake bridge in China – Taihu Bridge.
