Liuyuan

Liuyuan is located at Dayuwan on the south bank of Dongcheng River at No. 23, Koutai Road in the urban area. It is one of the ancient ‘Eight Scenes of Hailing’, namely ‘Fishing Songs in South Moat’. The park is surrounded by willow embankments outside. Inside the park, willows, bamboo forests, osmanthus forests, and magnolia grandiflora forests permeate each other. The winding paths lead to secluded places, and the ancient charm remains. The scenery is unique. Now, the landscape of Dayuwan and the Memorial Hall of Liu Jingting have been restored. After several years of operation, Liuyuan has long been full of lush and flourishing trees. The wonderful thing is that the site selection is just right, so that there is a curved water pond inside the park, and the moat water outside the park surrounds the garden. Waterbirds are often seen flying and perching, which is quite interesting. Moreover, due to its secluded location and rare human traces, it has become a good place for occasional quiet contemplation and for ‘the secluded person to come and go alone’. Opening hours: Open all year round from 7:30 to 16:30.
