The Majiabang Cultural Museum is located in Jiaxing. In addition to the preface hall, the museum’s exhibition area is divided into four sections: The Beginning of Jiaxing, Settlement Ecology, Cultural Root, and Passing on the Torch. Among them, the Cultural Root section displays over two hundred precious artifacts, including pottery and jade, unearthed from the Majiabang site.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00, all year round; closed all day on Mondays; open on National Day from 09:00-17:00, closed on Mondays, except for legal holidays.
