Nanjing Youzi Mountain Leisure Tourism Area – ‘The landscape is so beautiful here, only for the sake of being a stranger in a foreign land.’ Over 2000 years ago, Confucius ascended Youzi Mountain and was inspired by the idea of ‘a wanderer longing to return home.’ To commemorate him, people named the mountain Youzi Mountain, which has become the ‘holy mountain’ in the hearts of Gao Chun and surrounding residents for thousands of years.
Located in the central part of Gao Chun District, Nanjing, Youzi Mountain Leisure Tourism Area covers a total area of 650 hectares with a forest coverage rate of 89%. It is the core area of Gao Chun’s forest ecology and is known as Gao Chun’s ‘green lungs.’ The area nurtures the long history and culture of Gao Chun, with a profound foundation, and is referred to by domestic experts as a ‘rich ore area’ of Chinese folk culture, integrating Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, highlighting the ‘wanderer’ culture of Youzi Mountain. ‘One Youzi Mountain, a thousand years of appreciation and travel history.’ The millennia of culture narrate the vicissitudes of Youzi Mountain, and numerous historical sites and legends interpret the unique charm of this land.

Youzi Mountain, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, is a tourist destination for you to enter the forest oxygen bar, explore nature, and return to the green paradise.
The San Tiao Long area: The San Tiao Long Ecological Leisure Area is composed of forests, tea gardens, orchards, bamboo gardens, and reservoirs. The name San Tiao Long is quite special, and its origin is related to the unique geomorphological characteristics of this scenic area. If viewed from above, San Tiao Long resembles three undulating giant dragons, hence the name San Tiao Long, derived from its homophonic ‘three dragons.’
The Blessing Garden: From the entrance of the Blessing Garden, you can directly reach the summit of the main peak of Youzi Mountain, Dayou Mountain, by driving 3 kilometers along the mountain road. Dayou Mountain is 188 meters above sea level and is the highest point in the entire Gao Chun District, known as ‘the beauty of Lai Zhu.’
Zhenru Zen Temple: Zhenru Zen Temple is one of the four major Buddhist sacred sites under Mount Jiuhua in Anhui, rebuilt in 1997 under the supervision of the Jiuhua Mountain Buddhist Association President, Master Shi Huishen. It covers an area of about 7 hectares and stands out among the various sub-temples of Jiuhua Mountain. In the square stands a gilded Amitabha Buddha, 21 meters tall and weighing nearly a thousand tons. In addition, there are three treasure halls hidden in the mountains. The central Mahavira Hall ranks first among the sub-temples of Jiuhua Mountain, enshrining the Three Buddhas of the Three Worlds, flanked by the eighteen arhats, and the back is the Island Guanyin. The eastern and western side halls are the Great Vow Hall enshrining the statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Great Compassion Hall enshrining the statue of the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.
