The Nanxun International Parent-Child Culture and Art Season has officially been upgraded to the 23rd China Shanghai International Art Festival’s Nanxun branch venue this year. It returns with an upgrade from October 12th to October 27th! This year, Nanxun Ancient Town once again gathers numerous renowned domestic and international artists and troupes. The ancient town, with a history of thousands of years, will once again transform into a sea of joy and an amusement park for parent-child families. Six performances, totaling eleven shows, will take place at the ancient town’s theater and the new space of the canal, covering a rich variety of forms such as symphony, stand-up comedy, stage plays, and magic shows. Approximately 200 ancient town parades will take place every Saturday and Sunday, becoming the ‘atmosphere bearers’ of the ancient town. Four iconic scenic spots within the ancient town, ‘Xiaolian Manor’, ‘Baoshan Parent-Child Street’, ‘Yi Garden’, and ‘Liu’s Terrace’, will become ‘new performance spaces’, staging 13 immersive performances tailored for Nanxun. The opening time is from October 12th to October 27th, with specific business hours subject to the actual opening status of the day.
