Avalokitesvara Performance

The Buddhist grand ceremony ‘Avalokitesvara’ is being staged at the Putuo Mountain Theater with great splendor.
Ms. Wang Zhiping, a Yue Opera performing artist, serves as the artistic director and producer, while the renowned director Duan Jianping, known for directing large-scale panoramic song and dance performances such as ‘Song City Everlasting Love,’ takes on the role of the chief director.

With the theme of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the performance features the chanting of sutras such as the ‘Heart Sutra’ and the ‘Great Compassion Mantra’ as its musical theme, integrating various performance forms and employing high-tech methods to create the ambiance of a Buddhist paradise. It combines the threefold symphonic experience of introspection, participation, and appreciation.
