Wu Jingzi Memorial Hall

Located in the northwest corner of Quanjiao County. Originally built in the summer of 1959, the original site was beside the lotus pond in Quanjiao County. The current hall was rebuilt in October 1984, covering an area of 5000 square meters with a construction area of 1000 square meters. It features an east and west exhibition hall and a simple corridor, which officially opened to the public on July 1, 1986.
A bronze statue of Wu Jingzi stands in front of the memorial hall’s main hall, measuring 4.5 meters in height and weighing 500 kilograms. The hall houses various editions of ‘The Scholars’ and other works by Wu Jingzi, including the earliest discovered woodblock edition ‘Wo Xian Caotang Edition’, ‘Zeng Bu Qi Sheng Tang Edition’, ‘Wen Mu Shan Fang Ji’, ‘Wen Mu Shan Fang Shi Shuo’, and a reduced copy of his seven-character ancient poem manuscript ‘Feng Ti Ya Yu Da Gong Chu Sai Tu’ (the original is about 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, currently housed in the Beijing Palace Museum).
