Xiaoyangkou is located in Rudong County, Jiangsu Province, bordering the Yellow Sea. It is the only natural deep-water harbor capable of accommodating 300,000-ton vessels in the central coastal region of China. It is also the site of the Yangkou Outer Barrier Gate. Nearby attractions include a hot spring resort, golf course, kite flying base, coastal park, and an open-air dance venue for stepping on clams, among other tourist spots. It is a comprehensive Nanhuanghai-style resort area in the Yangtze River Delta that integrates tourism, leisure vacation, religious culture, seafood dining, science education, rural leisure, wetland entertainment, ecological wilderness, and expansion sports.
The area is open all year round from 8:00 to 17:00, with specific opening hours subject to on-site notices at the scenic spot.
