The Xin’an River Waterfront Tourism Scenic Area generally refers to the Xin’an River about 10 kilometers long from Huangshan urban area to Huashan Mystery Grottoes. Within the scenic area, what tourists actually visit is mainly the section of Xin’an River in Huangshan urban area. They can take a cruise ship, drive by themselves, or hike. If taking a cruise ship, board at Tunxi Wharf on Binjiang East Road. The ship sails from east to west, passes Century Square, and arrives at the water conservancy hub (near Linjiang Flower Market in Huangshan City), and then returns to Tunxi Wharf. The tranquil Xin’an River water and the beautiful green mountains in the distance form a nice scenery. As for the Huizhou Zhaobi, Lakefront Ancient Village, Tunpu Guifan Square, Linlang Qingying Corridor and other scenic spots along the way, they are all modern imitation ancient buildings. Taking a cruise ship at night, you can see the night view by the Xin’an River. If driving by yourself, follow Huashan Road (near Tunxi Old Street) – Binjiang West Road – Binjiang Middle Road – Binjiang East Road, and you can easily visit the entire section of Xin’an River in Huangshan urban area. If choosing to hike, walking along the above driving route is nearly 10 kilometers. If you want it to be easier, it is recommended to visit the confluence of Hengjiang River, Shuishui River and Xin’an River at Tunxi Old Street in the west of the urban area, and the route where cruise ships pass in the east of the urban area. It is recommended to visit the Xin’an River in Huangshan urban area at sunset when the scenery is relatively beautiful.
