The Yungu Cableway Company was established in 1985. It is now a standing director unit of the China Cableway Association and one of the earliest passenger cableway enterprises in the country. The Yungu Cableway is a single-line circulating detachable gondola cableway. It is like an Airbus. It starts from the north side of the Yungu scenic area and ends on the northeast side of Bai’e Ridge. The cableway is about 2,666 meters long with a height difference of more than 770 meters. There are 18 supports along the way. The running speed is 6 meters per second. Each car can carry 8 people. Taking the Yungu Cableway, you can enjoy scenic spots such as Tiandu Peak, Lianhua Peak, Buddha’s Palm Peak, Magpie Ascending Plum, Immortal Turning Table, Gourd Stone, and Sheep Crossing the River along the way. Sitting in the cable car that pierces through clouds and fog is like wandering in a fairyland on earth. The wonderful scenery is all in sight.
Opening hours: From March 2 to November 30, Monday to Friday, it is open from 07:00 to 17:10; From March 2 to November 30 (Saturdays, Sundays and small holidays), it is open from 06:30 to 17:40; From December 1 to March 1, it is open from 08:00 to 16:40. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
