Yuntai Pavilion

The Yuntai Pavilion is a pavilion in the style of antique architecture. The architectural form has the characteristics of ancient architecture of the Song and Yuan dynasties. It is located on the north peak of Yuntai Mountain. The total construction area is 1,800 square meters. It is currently the largest building in the history of ancient architecture in Zhenjiang. It is a group of buildings with undulating and changeable overall outlines composed of pavilions, halls and pavilions. At the construction site of the Yuntai Pavilion, a pair of ancient architectural column bases were once found, with a diameter of about 1 meter. According to the characteristics of column bases of different eras, ancient architecture experts believe that this pair of column bases should be the relics of Yuan Dynasty architecture. Ascending to the Yuntai Pavilion, you can overlook the surrounding landscapes of Zhenjiang: Jinshan Mountain, Jiaoshan Mountain, Beigu Mountain, Nanshan Mountain and other mountains are arranged in a ring. Beihu Lake and the Yangtze River lie horizontally. The old urban area and the new urban area of Zhenjiang can be seen at a glance. Yuntai Mountain and Jinshan Mountain, Beigu Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain set off each other. The construction of the Yuntai Pavilion, as a landmark building in Zhenjiang, shows prosperity.
