The Zhangjiagang Museum is located on Gangcheng Avenue, and it is one of the key science popularization education bases in Suzhou City, playing a significant role in local science education.
Opened in September 1999, the museum has hosted a variety of informative science exhibitions to disseminate scientific knowledge.
The museum currently has a 2000 square meter science exhibition hall dedicated to displaying various science popularization exhibitions, such as the ‘Large Natural Specimen Exhibition,’ ‘Large Marine Rare Creatures Science Exhibition,’ and the ‘Large Paleontological Dinosaur Fossils and Butterfly Specimen Exhibition.’
The museum also houses a collection of valuable mineral specimens and models.
It is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 to 17:00; closed on Mondays, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
