Yantou Ancient Village is located to the southwest of Xikou Town, approximately 11 kilometers away from the town center. Currently, there are 892 resident households and a population of 2426 people in Yantou Village. The village possesses 110 acres of paddy fields, 194 acres of bayberry, 400 acres of honey peaches, 4000 acres of thunder bamboo, 3000 acres of Mao bamboo, and 500 acres of flower seedlings. In 2009, the total income from the rural economy reached 1.13 million yuan, with the average annual income per farmer being about 8350 yuan. In recent years, Yantou Village has successively been honored with titles such as Zhejiang Province’s Historical and Cultural Village, Ningbo City’s Civilized Village, Ningbo City’s Ecological Village, Ningbo City’s Historical and Cultural Village, Ningbo City’s Agri-tourism Resort, Ningbo City’s Top Ten Greening New Landscape Villages, and Fenghua City’s Advanced Grassroots Party Organization. In 2009, Yantou Village was also awarded the title of ‘Ningbo City’s Comprehensively Well-off Village’. The entire text is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
