Heart-Character Rock is located below the Western Heavenly Gate. In the center of a smooth boulder is a large red ‘heart’ character, which is intricately engraved.
The entire ‘heart’ character can accommodate hundreds of people sitting in meditation, with just the central dot able to hold eight or nine people at the same time, making it a striking and notable site.
It is one of the must-visit spots for tourists when visiting Mount Putuo, especially for taking memorable photos.
