Xiao Changtu Mountain is located in Changtu Town, Dai County, and has an irregular rectangular shape with an east-west orientation. It faces Daishan Island across the Daishan Waterway to the west. The land area of the island is 10.92 square kilometers, with the highest point, Gao Ao Mountain, reaching an elevation of 299.6 meters. The coastline stretches for 25.23 kilometers, featuring a winding shoreline with numerous bays, inlets, and tidal flats.

Tourism resources on the island are abundant, including the Chuandeng Temple built during the Qing Dynasty, the Xihe Zui Lighthouse, and the spectacle of ‘pods of dolphins bowing to the river.’ Every year, after the Mid-Autumn Festival, groups of dolphins return to this area for over a month. They frequently emerge from the water, spraying columns of water 2 to 3 meters high, creating a remarkable sight.
