The Xinchang Qipanxiangu covers an area of about 668 hectares. It is located in the essence section of Qianxi, which is elegant and has a ten-mile-long waterfall. It is an agricultural and forestry leisure and sightseeing park integrating film and television shooting, outdoor expansion, tourism and leisure, fresh fruit picking, and nursery stock planting. Qipanxiangu is divided into ‘Cangsang Valley’, ‘Mingke Valley’, ‘Elephant Valley’, ‘Contending Valley’, ‘Drunken Valley’, ‘Xianzong Valley’, and ‘Poetic Soul Valley’. Among them, ‘Cangsang Valley’ is relatively flat and open. It is composed of a film and television base – ‘Tang City’ and the Confucian culture centered on Zhu Xi, containing profound historical and cultural connotations. Some film and television masterpieces such as ‘Twin of Brothers’, ‘Yongle Hero’, ‘Wudang’, ‘Who Rules the Ups and Downs’, ‘Liu Sanbian, the Chivalrous Lover of Books and Swords’, ‘The Legend of Jingwei’, ‘New Legend of the White Snake’, ‘Zhu Yuanzhang Returns to His Hometown’, ‘Flying Dance’, ‘Chivalrous Shadow and Xian Trace’ are successively filmed and produced here. The continuous peaks and meandering streams in the scenic area are integrated with the natural environment. Strange peaks and rocks, waterfalls and flowing springs, small streams and blue ponds, secluded valleys and caves, small bridges and flowing water, and winding thatched cottages show the harmony between people and nature and the charm of water and mountain rocks. The scenic area has the reputation of ‘the wonders and beauty of Yandang Mountain’ and ‘the Shangri-La in the south of the Yangtze River’. The main tourism projects in the scenic area are: sightseeing, drifting in Xian Valley, outdoor expansion, chess and card entertainment, farmhouse catering, viewing of flowers and nursery stocks, and picking of seasonal fruits and melons. Coming to Xian Valley allows you to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the beauty of ecological nature, the excitement and danger, and the joy of farmhouse customs.
The opening hours are from 08:30 to 16:30 all year round.
