The Xihoumen Bridge is a very large cross-sea bridge with high technical requirements among the five cross-sea bridges of the Zhoushan Bridge Islands Connection Project. It spans the Xihoumen waterway and connects Cezi Island and Jintang Island. The main bridge is a two-span continuous steel box girder suspension bridge. The main span is 1650 meters long and the approach bridge is 900 meters long. It is currently a steel box girder suspension bridge with a large span in the world. The scenic area is adjacent to the Xihoumen waters of the international shipping lane. The Xihoumen shipping lane is a famous rapids area in the country. Locals have a saying, ‘It’s easy to be a ship captain, but difficult to pass through Xihoumen’ to describe the rapid flow of the Xihoumen waters. The Xihoumen waters have always been rich in Miichthys miiuy. Tourists can taste the authentic ‘ten ways to eat Miichthys miiuy’. Currently, there are six viewing platforms in the scenic area, allowing visitors to appreciate the majestic charm of the Xihoumen Bridge from different angles.
