Located in Xinan, the Mingguo Mixed Courtyard faces the Jiang Family’s former residence across the stream and is a theme cultural park in China that gathers the charm of the Republic of China period. It showcases the culture of the Republic of China, the Jiang family’s culture, the military culture of the Republic of China, and the traditional culture of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. If Fenghao House preserves the imprints of significant historical events of the Republic of China, this place depicts the diverse and colorful folk customs of the period, enhancing visitors’ intuitive understanding of the culture.
The Mingguo Mixed Courtyard covers an area of nearly 20,000 square meters, with the interior divided into seven exhibition halls. A large number of valuable items characteristic of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period, scattered among the people, have been collected here. The attractions make time seem to flow backward, recreating the streets and markets full of the charm of the Republic of China.
The main building of the Mingguo Mixed Courtyard is an exhibition hall, surrounded by a corridor-style architecture, with shops lining up, just like a business workshop street from the Republic of China period, almost a living version of ‘Tiāngōng Kāiwù’. Here, oil springs gush from the oil extraction workshops, bamboo pulp flows from the papermaking workshops, and there are rail cars, carp jumping over the dragon gate, moon boats, and tug-of-war at the starting line—all allowing visitors to fully participate.
Opening hours are from April 21st to September 30th, 08:00-17:30; from October 1st to April 20th, 08:30-17:00. Preferential policies for children: those under 1.2 meters in height enter for free; those between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive) enter at half price. For the elderly: those aged 70 and above with an ID card or senior citizen card enter at half price. For military personnel: with relevant documents, enter at half price. For people with disabilities: with relevant documents, enter at half price.
