Shen Garden

Located on the east side of Duo’ao Village, Putuo, north of Yingjia Bay Reservoir, Shen Garden is a complex of ancient-style residences built around the story of the Jin Dynasty’s Duke Shen and the Korean filial daughter, Shen Qing, as a cultural garden symbolizing China-Korea friendship.
The garden features main themes such as the ‘Maritime Silk Road’, Shen Qing’s filial piety towards her blind father, the spread of Guanyin culture, and the life scenes of Duke Shen and Shen Qing, showcasing the historical friendship and cultural exchanges between the people of Putuo, China, and Gucheng, South Korea.
