Dongtou Village, also known as the Colorful Oil Painting Village, is located near the International Release Platform on Dongtou Island in Wenzhou City. It is an ancient small fishing village. The houses of the entire village are built from stone, and the walls and streets are covered with graffiti. From a distance, looking at the rows of colorful houses by the sea feels like being in a fairy tale world.
Walking into the village, you can see various ‘out-of-the-box’ graffiti everywhere, and every corner is a surprise. At the end of the alley is the sea that is close at hand. You can stand anywhere and face the sea with the spring breeze. On sunny days, you can come here to bask in the sun, daydream, or rent a bicycle to ride through the streets and alleys, feeling the gentle sea breeze.
The village is open all year round and all day, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
