Dachangtu Island is located in Changtu Town, Daishan County. It is an island in the Zhoushan Archipelago and the third largest island in Daishan County. Dachangtushan Mountain is an irregular elongated strip, running from east to west. The whole island is mainly hilly. The sea area around the island and nearby islands is wide. It faces the Huang Dayang Sea to the south, is adjacent to the Daiqu Ocean to the north, has Changtu Port to the west, and is adjacent to the Xiaobanmen shipping lane, one of the three major international shipping lanes in eastern China.
