From Fayu Temple to Hui Ji Temple, there lies a fragrant cloud path approximately 3 li long. Originally a woodcutter’s trail, the path is steep and rugged, making it quite challenging for believers to climb to the top of the Buddha’s summit, prostrating every three steps.

During the 30th year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, stone steps were laid, totaling 1087 steps. The scenery here is exceptional. Halfway along the fragrant cloud path, one can find the Xiangyun Pavilion, beside which there is an exquisite and unique quiet room known as the Xiangyun Pavilion. The white walls connect with carved balustrades and corridors, with several cold pools and winding paths leading to secluded areas, making it an ideal spot for tourists to rest while climbing the mountain.
