Jusha Garden in Meili

Jusha Garden is located on the eastern side of Meili Central Town, covering an area of 64,000 square meters. It is named after the ‘Jusha Hundred Blessings Pagoda’, which was originally built during the Southern Song Dynasty. The existing Jusha Pagoda is now a cultural heritage protection unit.

The garden features pavilions, waterside pavilions, towering ancient trees, lush greenery, and blooming flowers, making it an ideal place for tourists and leisure enthusiasts. The main attractions include: ‘Screen Mountain and Spring Sound’, ‘Shadow of Jusha Pagoda’, ‘Ancient Wood and Breeze’, ‘Lotus Peak Art Talk’, ‘Filial Piety Meili’, as well as the ‘Famous Calligrapher’s Inscription Corridor’, ‘Historical and Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall’, and ‘Changshu People’s Armed Forces Monument’.


The scenic area also includes配套设施 such as Pingtan storytelling venues, tea seats, and children’s playgrounds, integrating cultural entertainment and leisure tourism in one place. To fully explore the profound historical and cultural heritage of the ancient town and enhance the quality of the scenic area, the town’s taste has been improved by several expansions and renovations of Jusha Garden, increasing the park area from 58,000 to 64,000 square meters with 80% greenery. Strolling through the garden, one is surrounded by a splendid array of flowers and accompanied by light music, which is pleasing to the eye and refreshing to the mind.


Opening hours are from 08:00 to 16:00 all year round.


Preferential policies: Children under 1.4 meters (not including 1.4 meters) are admitted free of charge. Elderly people aged 70 (inclusive) and above are admitted free of charge with valid identification. Elderly people aged 65 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive) enjoy half-price tickets with valid identification. Full-time undergraduate and below students enjoy half-price tickets with valid identification.
