With the booming rise of the film and television industry, dozens of films and TV dramas such as the Olympic-themed film ‘Champion’, ‘Chinese Paladin 3’, the new version of ‘The Legend of the Condor Heroes’, the world’s first stereoscopic TV drama ‘Wu Chengen and Journey to the West’, ‘Palace of Han Dynasty’, ‘Fan Lihua, a Female General of the Tang Dynasty’, ‘Strange Tales of Liaozhai’ and the new version of ‘Journey to the West’ have been filmed here. It has become one of the real-scene shooting bases for Hengdian film and television.
