Haishan Xu’s Residence is a quintessential late Qing Dynasty architectural complex, consisting of four buildings arranged in sequence. The first building features a multi-story structure, while the second is a single-story house. The third and fourth buildings have single-story structures on the east side and multi-story structures on the west. Between the buildings, large square stone slabs are laid out to form alleyways.

The entire old house is pristine white, exuding a sense of seclusion from the world. Passing through the rustic walls of the ancient residence, it feels as if the outside noise and bustle dissipate instantly.
