Shanglianggang Scenic Area is located in the heart of the Siming Mountains in Eastern Zhejiang, just 7 kilometers away from the famous Xuedou Temple in Jiangnan. The area is rich in forest resources, with 13,379 acres of forest land and over 1,000 species of plants. The ancient trees are over a thousand years old, and the forest coverage rate reaches 90%.
The stream in the forest murmurs, and the myriad trees compete for beauty. The concentration of negative oxygen ions, which are beneficial to human health, is more than 1100 times higher than that in ordinary cities. The summer temperature does not exceed 28 degrees Celsius, with an average temperature of only 23 degrees in July and August, making it an ideal summer retreat and earning the reputation of being the ‘Shangri-La of Eastern Zhejiang.’ In addition to summer retreats and winter skiing, the area offers a variety of activities and excellent sports facilities, making it an ideal place for tourists seeking an active holiday.

At the southern summit of the ridge, there is a perennial mist, and when the wind passes, the sea of clouds rolls towards the valley. On clear days, standing on the mountain top, one can see the urban area of Ningbo. Shanglianggang was originally a barren mountain with 13,000 acres of land. On the southern hill, two giant rocks stand under a steep cliff, with a 2-meter-long stone spanning the top, known as the ‘Fairy Bridge.’ Not far from the peak, there is a ‘Middle Western House’ with a brick wall and a lead roof.

In addition to forest tourism and sightseeing, Shanglianggang Tourism Area has carefully planned and highlighted leisure vacation, health and fitness, business conferences, and outdoor sports functions, following the new model of European forest tourism areas, providing a new experience space for a new generation of tourists. Currently, Shanglianggang consists of 12 scenic areas and over 80 attractions, including the Forest Waterfall Plaza, Jiang Song Leisure Villa, Moonlight Cabin, Treetop Hotel, Tianchi Stage, Wind Chime Path, Lumberjack Manor, Expansion Base, Wuling Military Academy, Barbecue Center, Camping, and Self-driving Campsite.
