Pan’an Shuixia Kong Scenic Area is a national AAA-level scenic area. It is located in the northeast of Pan’an County, on the Chengxi River, a tributary of Jiaxi River. It is 50 kilometers away from the county seat and adjacent to Xinchang. The Panxin Highway passes through the edge of the scenic area, providing convenient transportation. The scenic area takes the natural landscape of ‘seven waterfalls and one lake’ as the main framework and integrates unique landscapes such as’mountains and waters, canyons, waterfalls, cave springs, flowers and plants, and glacial mills’. It gives birth to the essence of Neo-Confucianism culture of ‘dangerous peaks, sheer cliffs, valleys emerging, and strange waterfalls’ in nature. Surrounded by three sides of dangerous cliffs, it forms a huge circular cave. The water of Chengxi River suddenly falls from a cliff more than 40 meters high to the bottom of the cave, forming seven waterfalls connected end to end with different interests. The floating ones are like snow, the hanging ones are like curtains, the broken ones are like fog. The cave is filled with mist, the sound is deafening, and it is soul-stirring and amazing.
